Housed in the old Brixton dole office Cool Tan Arts (who took their name from their first squatted venue up on Effra Road) did a great job of running this inclusive community squat come venue from late 1992 until their eviction around late September 1995. This involved a lot moire than just great parties, regular cafe nights were on and a lot of militant/activist stuff too.
You can read more on its history on Urban 75
Here's 3 flyers that have come my way from the final parties.
Have a few of those flyers too, was trying to remember exact sequence - first it was the Dolehouse squat, actually two different crews who squatted different parts of the building, more of a party mob downstairs and more straight politicals upstairs. Then they got evicted and Cool Tan took over (having earlier as you say squatted that place on Effra Road). At the time we used to deride Cool Tan a lot of the time for not being hardcore enough, but actually they did a great job keeping a space going that was, as you say, a lot more inclusive than many of the squat places at the time.
