Originally planned to happen at the squatted Coronet cinema in Mile End road next to the busted bank gig of the previous Saturday.
This was original flyer, after the bust of the previous week another venue had to be
found and arranged. It finally took place in a massive warehouse right behind King's Cross station.
Here is the amended flyer:
This was scheduled on the same night as the busted rave at the Stockwell Night School.
The warehouse was actually split in 2, one side was the gig which was £2/3 to get in and the other half had a rave the entrance to which they were charging a tenner to get in, the funny thing being that once inside you could come and go from one to the other so ravers were pretty much being had on this one, I have no idea who was in running the rave side.
I'd got there by 10 and things were as per usual running a bit late. I'd spotted my drum stool which had been nicked by the 2000DS drummer a couple of weeks earlier at the night school and was trying to make my way to it to nick it back when suddenly a massive fight erupted between the French crew and the 2000DS lot (I think) which sort of made this impossible for me to do this discreetly and I decided to just give up on the idea as complete mayhem was happening around me.
I don't think I got to see a single band, after the fight had subsided the chaos continued and at one point I got bored and bussed it back home to find that the police had busted the party there.
Mostly flyers and pictures from squats/gigs/parties/festival, mostly from the 1990's but you might get the odd ones from the 80's and the 2000's too depending on what I get my hands onto. Currently mostly uploading pictures, after some mildly marathonic scanning session, I will add more informations in the future when I have some leisure time. There might also be some pictures/flyers completely unrelated to the above depending on my mood. Enjoy and feel free to leave comments.
