A whole lot of paint was used last month, here is the ones I managed to catch, you really want to check the batman near the end.
and another 68 after the jump
Mostly flyers and pictures from squats/gigs/parties/festival, mostly from the 1990's but you might get the odd ones from the 80's and the 2000's too depending on what I get my hands onto. Currently mostly uploading pictures, after some mildly marathonic scanning session, I will add more informations in the future when I have some leisure time. There might also be some pictures/flyers completely unrelated to the above depending on my mood. Enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

The Stockwell Hole March 2013
And here is what I gathered in March down the basketball court, including the total cover up that was made for Easter which I think is entitled Stockhell 13.
Enjoy.
There are another 60+ pictures after the jump, go and check them

Cool Tan Dole House late summer 1995
Housed in the old Brixton dole office Cool Tan Arts (who took their name from their first squatted venue up on Effra Road) did a great job of running this inclusive community squat come venue from late 1992 until their eviction around late September 1995. This involved a lot moire than just great parties, regular cafe nights were on and a lot of militant/activist stuff too.
You can read more on its history on Urban 75
Here's 3 flyers that have come my way from the final parties.

The August coats in the Stockwell Hole
Here is your (now) monthly instalment of fresh paint from Stockwell, I missed quite a few but they are way too quick, most pieces are short-lived and if you don't catch them straight away then they're gone forever.
It seems that CHT who own the place now has plans to remove some of the walls and so this place might not last that much longer, this would really be a shame if it came to pass as as you can see for yourselves there are some truly great pieces of art being created there.
Post now edited with another 15 pieces I had somehow missed when uploading. They are at the end of the post.

Stockwell Hole July 2012
And so a few more weeks have passed and here are the pieces I managed to snap. Less activity than usual I though, probably due to the awful weather and also maybe some of the perps going down to the BOS in Perpignan 2 weeks ago and the recent arrests related to ongoing sport event which you apparently cannot call the Olympics London Summer 2012 due to some copyright bollocks or some such; anyway, enjoy the snaps.

Praxis Newsletter 1/94 (26-02-94)
Newsletter from the Praxis record label given out at the first Dead By Dawn night at the 121 centre.
I'm pretty sure the "techno" version of Bourbonese Qualk played a live set on the night too.

The Stockwell Hole - 17-19/02/2012
Here is a work in progress from Friday 17-02:
.
unfortunately by the time I walked past it again in daylight it had already been covered, a shame as it was pretty cool.
So anyway, on Sunday I caught a few more:

P.R.O.D
A couple of flyers for the well loved People's Republic Of Disco which had started at The Windmill pub before moving later on to The Canterbury Arms.
This is (quite sadly) now defunct.
I remember some great times and very positive vibes at all the ones I managed to attend, all their archives are here.
And you can also find out about their new projects there.
Here is a short promo blurb:
“We believe that the people of this country are being oppressed,” announces a man calling himself Comrade Dubversion, “by capitalism, the sorry state of democracy and long DJ sets for the ‘shirts-off-up-for-it’ crowd. We want to see the end of the superclub, the end of the DJ workout, the end of bongo-laden nonsense. I believe with a Molotov cocktail in one hand and a Kylie single in the other, we can bring discocracy to this green and pleasant land.” source

The Stockwell Hole - Sunday February 5th 2012
Nothing to do with parties gigs squatting or even the 90's, some good stuff despite my talentless hungover photo snapping..
every time I walk to work I pass this place:
Obviously it does not look like much which is why most people are totally unaware of what goes on inside it...
let's take a closer look
now it looks more interesting already.
Let's go down the ramp and see what's down there.u walk down this is the first one you see, it give a blogspot address I guess of one of the persons involved

posters on Brixton railway bridge.
I'm still wondering who had put those up there:
They stayed for quite a while, on the railway bridge right outside Brxton tube station, sometime around 1989/1990

Gigs at The Canterbury Arms
This would have been 1993 or 1994, I'd driven RDF from Edimburgh to Milton Keynes then driven home. Put my feet up for about 3 & a half minute before going to pick up the P.A. from the archduke Charles taking it to the pub, playing with my band then back to Milton Keynes to pick up RDF, to find out Chris had set sails already and my money was a wee bit short... all in all a pretty long after I'd dropped RDf back and had to go recollect the P.A.

lap of luxury
Obviously living it up in the lap of luxury in the old Black Women Centre after it had been squatted on the corner of Stockwell road and Stockwell Green, a 15 seconds walk from the Old Queens Head and all its punk and hardcore gigs.
